So what is 5 for fighting? If you happen to live anywhere up north and remotely like the game of ice hockey, then you should know that you are allowed to fight in ice hockey and if you do, you get a major penalty and have to spend 5 minutes in the penalty box. It's announced as "5 minutes for fighting". I was very fortunate to get to spend the first half of my life as an ice hockey player. I heard " Major penalty to number 27 Chris Crombie, five minutes for fighting" a couple of times.  I was never quite good enough to make "the show" (NHL), but I was fortunate enough to get to play the game that I love till I was 35 years old and have someone actually pay me for it!

I never backed away from a fight that had to be fought, trust me, there were a couple I wanted no part of.  No one in life gets to win them all, but by showing up, you do win.  I stuck up for my teammates every time it was asked of me.  I answered the bell.

I worked for a big typical corporate America media company for the last 7 years.  I realized a couple things that I eventually had to acknowledge.  Other than a couple owner operated products, I did not have any belief in what I sold.  The expectation was to move customers into higher end, bigger dollar programs, that I watched other reps sell and constantly fail.  I couldn't sell what was expected of me because my fear of hurting my clients was too great.  The profit margins expected of the big companies would never help my customers. I was fighting for the wrong team....

The competitive landscape has changed drastically. Ten years ago people were just starting to doubt if there phone book ads were working compared to " that Google thing! "  You don't hear that anymore. Everyday a new company is getting into the world of digital advertising and more and more are investing a majority of there advertising budget in it. Investing with the right company is critical to your success.

As with all business, word of mouth and your reputation should be your number one way of gaining a new customer. I say this because my company is being built off of it. The odds of you being on this site due to your business being actively solicited is remote. For the most part you probably have some sort of personal or professional relationship with me. I am actually quite busy and growing every day from the referrals I am receiving. That being said, there is always someone out there that doesn't have an answer to a problem and is looking for a solution. Maybe they are new to the area, or disappointed in there current service provider. They might be on vacation, or just wanting to research a potential big purchase, the list goes on and on.  At 5 For Fighting we can make sure your potential customer sees you when they need to in all stages of the buying cycle.  Once you acquire that truly new customer you can continue to enjoy even more word of mouth and even more referrals.

5 for fighting has given me the opportunity to stick up for the people I want to, the small and medium sized businesses that just want the truth.  I get to fight again to make sure my team mates are being given the best opportunities to win.

Please spend some time visiting the site, I hope it can be helpful.  If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call us.

Game On!
